First post and thoughts

I recently had a look back through my email and came across another bill for website hosting.

Investigating a little further back, turns out I actually bought this domain back in 2018.

I vaguely remember the reasons

1. It would be cool to own the domain of my first name.
2. ^ as above.

Over 8 years it's pretty much been unused the entire time, although I did set it to a photo of my cat at one stage. Every year I think about doing something with it. Maybe a brand? Maybe... some SAAS? Maybe I should put some photos on it?

I think at the end of the day the possibilities were endless and I had decision fatigue, always promosing that I would look at it tomorrow.

So, upon seeing yet again another charge on my credit card, I decided that I would spend the day coding out a website that really has no bearing on anyone

I believed this website was to put myself out to the world.

In the end, it's just for me.

And maybe I'll look back on some of the shit I write in here in a years time, or the fact that this was my first and only post, and think about how good my life actually was.

This is more of a test post, because truthfully I made an authentication system and database in 4 hours without properly testing if it works.
